Skin Plan
Three steps and one written sheet
Our method for every new patient. It starts with an examination and ends with a sheet you take home, which also says what you should not do.
Analysis
Your skin is examined in daylight and with a dermatoscope. We talk about the products you use, sun, sleep and medication. Photographs are taken only with your permission.
The plan
The doctor writes down what has priority, what can wait and what you should not do. You take it away on paper, with the prices next to each item.
The order
Treatments are carried out one at a time, in the order of the plan. Every three months the plan is reviewed and changed if your skin has changed.

The first visit is always with a dermatologist. Aesthetic treatments are performed by the doctor in person.

A dermatologist for sixteen years, specialised in Tirana with postgraduate training in Vienna. She opened HELIA with a rule she still keeps: no treatment without a diagnosis. She follows the acne, mole and sensitive-skin cases herself.

Doctor, aesthetic medicine
A doctor with eleven years of practice in aesthetic medicine, trained in Tirana and Milan. He works with low doses and a check-up after two weeks. If a treatment is not right for a patient, he says so during the consultation.

From the visit to the follow-up
Four steps, the same for every patient.

Consultation
Thirty minutes with the dermatologist. Bring the products you use and your latest test results, if you have them.

Diagnosis
The doctor tells you what they see and what they cannot say without tests. When needed, they refer you to another specialist.

Treatment
In the assigned room, with the doctor who made the diagnosis. Beforehand you sign an informed consent form that also lists the possible side effects.

Follow-up
A check-up two weeks after aesthetic treatments, and as needed for the others. For any concern between visits, write to us.

Questions
Before you come
Do I need a consultation before every treatment?
Yes, always. Even for laser hair removal or hydration: the doctor needs to see your skin before the settings are chosen. No treatment is booked without a visit.
Can laser be done on dark skin or in summer?
On dark skin yes, with the Nd:YAG platform and lower settings. In summer only if the area is not exposed to the sun: tanned skin raises the risk of spots. For the face we usually wait for autumn.
What is botulinum toxin and who performs it?
It is a medicine that temporarily relaxes the muscles of expression, used in medicine for decades. Here only the doctor injects it, after a consultation and informed consent. The effect is temporary and the dose is set for each person.
How much downtime do the treatments have?
It depends. Hydration and LED, usually none. Medical peeling leaves mild redness and light flaking for two or three days. After laser the area stays red for a few hours. The doctor tells you exactly before you decide.
How do prices work?
The prices on this page are a guide. After the visit you receive the exact cost in writing, before any treatment starts. Payment is made at the clinic after each session.
I have a mole that has changed. What should I do?
Call us. For lesions that change shape or colour, bleed or hurt, we find you a slot the same day. For emergencies outside opening hours, go to the hospital emergency department.
